Gutter Cleaning
Yes it’s true, every year your gutters can become a gooey mess. We specialize in gooey stuff. When we leave, we take the mess with us.
Our gutter services include:

• Able to clean up to 5 stories with video inspection.

Soft-Washed Siding
Some people power-wash their vinyl siding. Power-washing will remove the finish off the siding and make it harder to clean in the future. Too powerful of a power-washer will perforate vinyl siding allowing moisture to enter and rot to occur unseen.
It is recommended that Hardiplank never be power washed. Power-washing can damage the hardiplank. Lower pressure and mild soap is recommended.
Shine-Eze uses a softwash solution to clean siding. We apply a solution to your home with a low pressure pump equivalent to your garden hose. This solution is environmentally friendly but will kill all green and black algae. Once applied and left for a few minutes to do the dirty work, we rinse your house down with clean water. The solutions used will not harm your plants. Any soffits or gutters that need an extra scrub will be scrubbed by hand. We also offer a service that will remove the black polution streaking that you see on many gutters.

Roof Cleaning
We provide roof cleaning & soft washing services to both commercial & residential properties in the Comox Valley, Courtenay, and Campbell River.
Whether your roof is made of asphalt, tar and gravel, torch-on, metal, concrete tile, or cedar shake, we can provide expert advice to help you get your roof looking new again.
Do you notice black streaks, algae/mold on your roof? This residue is called Gloeocapsa magma. It is an organic bacteria/algae that grows on your roof, feeding on the substrates that make up your roof – such the limestone filler that is commonly used in asphalt shingles. This type of growth will lead to premature decomposition of your shingles through granule erosion, and it will lead to further organic growth infestations such as moss and lichen.
These are signs that you need to have your roof safely cleaned, treated, and soft-washed to exterminate the organic growth and spores and eradicate the infestation.
Our technicians use a safe soft-wash technique to thoroughly clean a roof. Safety is our number one priority, and our technicians are fully insured and trained to work at heights with the proper fall arrest safety gear. We use advanced tools and chemicals to tackle steep roofs and hard-to-reach areas.
We clean the roof using a protective biocide solution that is recommended by the ARMA (Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association), and the IRA (International Roofing Association). Our roof soft washing service comes with a 2-year warranty, however, depending on your home’s proximity to trees and water, the cleaning can last much longer!
At Shine-eze, we use a unique low-pressure, soft-wash process for roof cleaning. We apply an effective, biodegradable chemical to safely kill all the moss, lichen, mold, mildew, algae, and underlying bacteria causing those black streaks.
We understand that every roof requires a specific cleaning method depending on the material type. After our technician inspects your roof, we give you a custom cleaning protocol suited for your roof type. We start by gently brushing the roof to remove the debris down to the roots, followed by a roof-blowing service. We will then spray your roof with a solution that is specifically designed to clean without the use of a pressure washer. The roof is then soft-washed, and the surrounding area is treated with a neutralizing agent to prevent any off-spray from contaminating the landscaping.

Construction Cleaning
Window production has truly changed over the years. Most of today’s windows are produced in huge factories with less control over quality. Microscopic debris can get baked into the glass and without a proper cleaning, these particles can be picked up and scratch the glass. Having an untrained person clean new glass can be disastrous and destroy the thousands of dollars you just spent installing them. New windows can only be properly cleaned by squeegee, allowing the technician to see any imperfections and remove any stickers, paint, or silicon, left on the glass without doing any damage.. Sills and frames are detailed to look as they should, brand new.
